【摘要】:Itisessentialthatovensusedforthermalevaluationofinsulatingmaterialsbecapableofmaintaininguniformconditionsoftemperatureandaircirculationovertheextendedperiodsoftimethatarerequiredforconductingthesetests.SpecificationD5423specifiesthepermissibledeviationsfromabsoluteuniformitythathavebeengenerallyacceptedinternationallyfortheseovens.Thesetestmethodsincludeproceduresformeasuringthesedeviationsandotherspecifiedcharacteristicsoftheovens.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforevaluatingthecharacteristicsofforced-convectionventilatedelectrically-heatedovens,operatingoverallorpartofthetemperaturerangefrom20Cabovetheambienttemperatureto500Candusedforthermalenduranceevaluationofelectricalinsulatingmaterials.1.2ThesetestmethodsarebasedonIECPublication216-4-1,andaretechnicallyidenticaltoit.Thiscompilationoftestmethodsandanassociatedspecification,D5423,havereplacedSpecificationD2436.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
