【摘要】:Hydrogenperoxide(formedphotochemicallyintheatmosphere)isaprimaryoxidizerofdissolvedsulfurdioxideinatmosphericwater.DetectionofH2O2inatmosphericwaterisusefulforinferringgas-phaseH2O2concentrationsandforassessingtherelativeimportanceofvariousacidifyingmechanismsunderspecificatmosphericconditions.Hydroperoxidesinsamplestobeanalyzedareunstableinwaterandcandecayrapidlyduetobacterialactionorchemicalreactionwithotherconstituents.Thetestmethodincludesproceduresforsamplederivatizationandmethodsforestimatingandcorrectingforhydroperoxidedecay.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofhydroperoxides,whichincludehydrogenperoxide(H2O2)andcombinedorganicperoxides,insamplesofatmosphericwaterbythemethodofhorseradishperoxidasederivatizationandfluorescenceanalysisofthederiveddimer.1.2Therangeofapplicablehydrogenperoxideconcentrationswasdeterminedtobe0.6-176.0x10-6Mfromindependentlaboratorytestsofthetestmethod.1.3Theprimaryuseofthetestmethodisforhydrogenperoxide,butitmayalsobeusedtoquantitateorganichydroperoxides.Determinationsoforganichydroperoxideconcentrationlevelsupto30x10-6Mmaybeadequatelyobtainedbycalibrationwithhydrogenperoxide.Whileorganichydroperoxideshavenotbeendetectedatsignificantconcentrationlevelsinrainorcloudwater,theirpresencemaybetestedbyoperationofthetestmethodwiththeadditionofcatalasefordestructionofH2O2.1.4Becauseoftheinstabilityfohydroperoxidesinatmosphericwatersamples,propersamplecollection,at-collectionderivatization,andstringentqualitycontrolareessentialaspectsoftheanalyticalprocess.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
